i have jas os 10.4.7 running in my pc

but i saw in logic pro 8 specs that i need version 10.4.9 or later to run logic pro 8

i tested the jas 10.4.8 and jas 10.4.9 iso´s but all crash in the install...

so im stick to version 10.4.7

how can i make logic pro 8 run in jas os 10.4.7 ? what do i need to update?

thanks in advance :)

hey there I found that a while ago and wrote it in an other thread,it worked for me:

this method help for lot of things if you can't update

In terminal:

sudo su

(password)

cd /system/library/coreservices/

nano -w systemversion.plist

where it says 10.4.9, just change to 10.4.10.

Then: CTRL+X

Y

type: reboot

In About This Mac, it now says 10.4.10

or try that:

:D

nice work , i will test this later

if doenst work , i have to find a update from 10.4.7 to 10.4.9 , becouse the full dvd instalations crash in the install , right after i select the language... and i find more people with this problem all over the web

doenst work...

i see now the version 10.4.10 in about this mac , but logic audio says...

the link you give its not valid for logic pro (pacifist only installs .dgk files , and logic audio installer is "logic studio.app" )

im in troubles :D
