Back when sleep used to work on my system, I would get the same thing happening. Sleep doesn't work anymore (I've reinstalled, and that feature somehow didn't survive the reinstall).

However, if I change my resolution from 1920x1600 to 1600x1200, the display is pixelated, as you noted. Then, if I changed it back, it is still pixelated, and I can't get the correct display back until I reboot...

After i wake my compugter up form sleep, everything on the screen seems pixalated. Im using an nvdia 7600 on kalyway. someone help

If you have two video outputs on your card, switch to the other one and power on, then test sleep.

It worked for me with 7600GS and badaxe2 m/b with kalyway

Had the same problem after adding a 8800GT to my rig, i think this is caused by invalid NVCAP values.

Waking from sleep, or changing resolution resulted in a pixelated/corrupted/skewed image on one of my displays.

I fixed it by correcting the NVCAP for the card in the EFI/GFX string.

All VGA/DVI outputs work normally after this, no need to change to the other.
