mrmt32
I am trying to install Mac OS X on my system in VMWare 5.5. I have never used VMWare before, and have tried looking through the wiki but can't find anything of help. In VMWare i have used the wizard to make a "custom" virtual machine using the hard drive i want to install mac on (Currently has a partition i made with diskpart, "AF"). I added this drive as a physical drive, all it has on it is this AF partition. I cannot get it to load at all. When i start the virtual machine, it has the vmware loading screen and then all i see is the letter "j" and i can't type anything or do anything. I have tried mounting the mac os x dvd (patched) in alcohol but cant get this to work. Any help please? Thanks!.
