Hi. I have just installed leopard on an external 40gb hard drive. After the installation when I tell my computer too boot from the drive it says "Verifying DMI Pool Data". Then it boots from the DVD in the drive. If there is no DVD, it boots in to a PXE.

System Specs:

AM5100-E1208A

  • 2.6GHz AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core Processor 5200+ (2 x 512KB L2 Cache)
  • 3GB DDR2 SDRAM (expandable to 4GB)
  • 40gb external hard drive
  • Super-Multi DVD-Dual Drive (DVD+/-RW, DVD-RAM)
  • ATI Radeon HD2400 Graphics with 120MB VGA Card

The DVD I used was the Zephyroth DVD.

I've looked around and I can't find a way to install the Darwin bootloader on the drive. (I think thats the problem)

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
