drumthrasher109
When i'm in the getting started thing after I install Leopard, and after I fill in some info and stuff and try and create an account, 7 seconds after I click on continue the hard drive stops doing stuff and the cursor turns to a rainbow. I've waited 10 minutes, still nothing. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/83406-freeze-at-account-creations/ Share on other sites
wahwahman89
Try booting -x. Usually that indicates a network connectivity problem. Try that, alternatively try a different disc. I recommend Kalyway for Leopard 10.5.1. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/83406-freeze-at-account-creations/#findComment-592310 Share on other sites
drumthrasher109
Ok i'll try that. I have the same CPU as you, I thought that Kalyway was for Intel's only? Plus I haven't seen a download spot for that... UPDATE: -x seemed to do something, as in it took a little bit longer to boot, but it still didn't help. Yeah Kalyway (it says) is only for Intels, or does it work for AMD also?
