Shutdown, Sound.. how?

Hello guys, need your help.

 

Installing iATKOS onto my friend's HP Pavillion dv6000.. Core 2 Duo 2.2GHz, 2GB RAM, 8400m GS, ALC268.

 

I got iATKOS 1.0i, and installed, everything goes perfectly, now I have both Vista and iATKOS dual boot. 2 problems though..

 

1. Sound

I got the ALC268 Installer 1 and 2 from the "AppleHDA Solution" thread, but I don't know how to use them. I opened both installers and though it shows installation complete, the sound still doesn't work. How do I make it work? The installer is different from the AppleHDA patcher, so I don't need a codec dump right?

 

2. Shutdown/restart problem

I can't shutdown/restart. Everytime I pressed shutdown/restart, the menu bar and the dock starts to move out soooo slowly (I haven't installed graphics), and then the screen just hangs after that. Not even after I leave the computer to stand for a few hours. Is it my graphics problem or do I need to install some patch? I read from another thread that I need to change Power Management options in the BIOS, but I can't find it in my bios.
