children_of_the_dragon
Hi all: Just wanted to clear this up: I have a quad-boot on my laptop: Vista/XP/Shared on primary partition, and the fourth split into 3 logical, for Leopard/Ubuntu/Linux Swap. I had come across rumors that you cannot install OSX86 release into logical partition. Obvious that is not true, since I run off of it fine (efi v8 method, using Vista bootloader configured by EasyBCD). I am just curious, would my configuration (namely having Leopard on a logical partition) pose issues in the long run? Recently, for example, I'm trying to get my Vista and/or XP partition to boot inside of VMWare Fusion and/or Parallels, and it's not working, perhaps it's difficult for the OS (Leopard) to make a connection back to the 1st primary drive? Any ideas would be greatly appreciated. PS: for those who are using HP DV6000t or are trying to get iATKOS installed, I'm currently compling an EXTREMELY DETAILED TUTORIAL, Stay tuned1 ChildrenOfTh(eDragon) Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/83147-is-it-bad-to-install-leopard-onto-logical-partition/ Share on other sites
