zSpudatoX Posted January 22, 2008 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Hi, so i have osx leopard finally working except i don't have QE enabled and i should be able to handle it specs: DFI NF4 SLI-DR AMD athlon x2 4200+ evga 7800GT so far everything else is working great, i used the amd release by Zeph rev 01 system profiler shows QE as not enabled but everything else is detected fine in system profiler, including the 7800GT which it dertects fine. to install the graphics driver, i used the nvidia installer found here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=78980 any help getting QC enabled will be great, hopefully i gave enough information. i tried searching for a way to enable QC but ive found that its supposed to enable itself. zSpudatoX Posted January 23, 2008 Author Share Posted January 23, 2008 Hi, ok well i did two things and one of them enabled QE for me. what i did was follow this guide to get time machine to work http://www.insanelymac.com/lofiversion/index.php/t75246.html . also, i changed the dvi port that my monitor was on since i have to dvi ports on the back of my video card. so either one of these enabled QE for me, it was most likely the change of ports, but osx seems picky so i guess it could be either.
