FREEZES ON GRAPHIC LEOPARD INITIAL WINDOW

I've been trying to do a 10.5.1 install for ever now. My specs are as follows:

 

MSI P6N SLI PLATINUM (nvidia nforce 650i sli chipset)

INTEL Q6600 quad core

6 gigs OCZ nvidia SLI memory

WD 7K 16M SATA2 WD3200AAKS 320gb

 

whenever i try to just type "vanilla" after f8 like the forum says, the icon does its spinny thing for a little while and right when it looks like it's going to start installing, i get a white flash and my comp restarts. I typed in -v after f8 and I got this
