lmwong
Hi, I know there are a ton of post about screen resolution, but none seem to be working for me. I have a T61 14" widescreen 7658, Intel GMA X3100 GM965 video and installed Jas 10.4.6 successfully. VESA v3.0. I've done the <key>Graphics Mode</key><string>1440x900x32</string>, without success. I've tried "Graphics Mode"="1440x900x32", without success. At Darwin boot, with ?video, the highest resolution listed is only 1024x768. I've seen posts about a Natit kernel, but I'm not sure if this applies to me. Do I need CI or QE working? Any help to get higher resolution would be great. Thanks. lmwong
try SwitchResX Worked for me when the string change didn't I also tried this program. It only lists 1024x768 for Active resolutions. I add a Custom resolution (1440x900) and it says "should be active", but I cannot select it. Nothing changes with reboot.
