Hello,

After installing MacOSX Leopard 10.5.1 MacOS is working fine, it bootes and i can enter the os without any problems. When i reboot my notebook and try to startup MacOS again i get the following error: "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the Power button for serveral seconds or press the Restart button."

I tried to reinstall it a few times but after the first reboot I get the same error everytime.

I hope someone can help me with this.

Iatkos v1.0i r2

Intel Core2Duo T7500

4096 MB DDR2

=====Update=====

I've searched on the forum and googled and I found the following to resolve the problem:

/library/SpeedStep

sudo mv ACPICPUThrottle.kext ACPICPUThrottle.kext.pos

After renaming this file the os booted with no further problems, are there any disadvantages at this solution?
