Jaw3000
I have kallyway 10.5.1 booted and working great, except for SATA on my GA-G33M-DS2R. OS X reports no SATA devices present. I have both a 500GB HD and Samsung DVD burner connected via SATA. Can anyone point me in the right direction for the proper kexts/patches? Chipsets: SATA: JMicron JMB368 SATA-II RAID Controller (I think) Thanks for your assistance!
Jaw3000
Update: I got sound working, so I updated the post to reflect only my ongoing SATA problem and KEXT search. I know iAtkos had an option for JMicron installation support (not sure if that would help), but unfortunately, I didn't install iAtkos. BYW, does anyone know how to enable quartz extreme on an ATI Radeon 2600 XT Pro? I have installed the proper kexts, but qe won't work.
Grooby97
I use the same board. I have to enable AHCI in bios for OSX86 to see my sata HD. As for your video driver, I won't be able to help you. I am running NV 8600GT using 1.5.2 kext.
Jaw3000
I'll try enabling AHCI. Is there a specific kext for SATA or JMicron support though? I remember seeing an option in the iAtkos install for JMicron SATA support, but I have no idea if that would help in this case. I've been looking, but can't find anything. But, like I said, maybe it's not even needed. I'll try AHCI.
Grooby97
hmm...I use the Kalyway DVD and it works like that. Maybe in the bios, change your SATA to legacy and also emulate it like IDE?
