xyz1235
Hi all, I would like to install MacOS X on an old Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo A1630 notebook. These are its specifications: CPU: AMD Athlon64 3400+ (IIRC socket 754) Chipset: SIS 755 + SIS SB 963L Audio: Realtek AC97 - ALC655 Video: ATI MOBILITY RADEON 9700 Ethernet: SiS 900 Fast Ethernet Which version do you suggest me? I downloaded JaS MacOS X 10.4.8 but unfortunately I couldn't install it. I get a panic error: "FPU segment overrun exception in kernel thread context". I tried to use several options like: -x -v platform=X86PC but I keep getting the same error. Did anyone ever get this error? How to solve it? Thanks. Reveeen
There isn't one............ if you took the time to read supported hardware you would find that SIS anything is not supported. I am not against experimenting, but at least try to give yourself a chance, by reading EVERYTHING you can, then make your decisions.
