pina0004
Hi all. Thanks for your responses regarding the "/com.apple....." error. It seems that the IDE DVD drive was the culprit - using a SATA made it work. As I am moving along with the install, things went fine until I rebooted. I've been following install guides from those with the same mbd (Asus P5E-K Wifi) which say to reboot, and the when the Darwin loader appears, hit F8, and type in "rd=disk0s1" (mine would be disk3s1) at the BOOT command. Problem is, when I hit "Enter" the Darwin loader goes, I get a blank screen, then they grey apple background comes up with a message in the middle saying "You need to restart your computer. Hold down the power button for several seconds or pres the Restart button". It says this in four different languages. If I'm in the Darwin loader and hit F8 or Enter or do nothing (as has been recommended on other threads while OS boots up again), it tries to go through the install screens again! My questions is, I've got Leopard installed, now how do I have it run after reboot? Also, what's the best way to configure it so that I can choose different OSs from the main BIOS menu? I've got XP Pro on another disk. Thanks again for all your help. This really rocks!
