frasiercraver Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 Hello, I am very new at this and I have been trying for about a week to install leopard onto my pc. My latest attempt has been to try to make a kalyway dvd and install it on my computer. I have learned a lot this past week, but apparently not enough, because when I boot from the DVD, it says "Missing Operating System" with a blinking cursor after it. All I did to the DVD was download the Kalyway torrent and burn it to the DVD using Sonic RecordNow, and making it bootable by clicking on the green box in Sonic and choosing the Kalyway file. Apparently this should let it boot from the file, but I still get the error. Does anyboy know what I'm doing wrong? Thanks a lot! backayard Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 The DVD image already bootable, I used Nero to burn the kalyway DVD image and it work ok. If you don’t have Nero tries using “imgburn” which is free.
