Quadratic Posted January 19, 2008 Share Posted January 19, 2008 I installed Tiger 10.4.5 in VMWare, following the instructions at: http://wiki.osx86project.org/wiki/index.php/Vmware_how_to The OS installs fine, but when it restarts the mouse is no longer detected. I get errors saying that the following were not installed properly: /system/library/extensions/appleps2controller.kext /system/library/extensions/appleps2controller.kext/Contents/Pluglns/ApplePS2Trackpad.kext /system/library/extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext /system/library/extensions/AppleAC97Audio.kext/Contents/Pluglns/MaccussAC97.AudioES137x.kext /system/library/extensions/ApplePS2Controller.kext/Contents/Pluglns/ApplePS2Mouse.kext I'm using an Acer laptop (Aspire 5570), and neither the trackpad nor my logitec USB mouse will work. Further, although the keyboard worked perfectly after the first boot (I was able to set up an account and everything), it no longer works now that I've restarted the machine.
