EagleFlight Posted January 17, 2008 Share Posted January 17, 2008 Hello! I've Kalyway 10.4.10 installed on my Acer TravelMate 3002WTMi, and works perfectly! Internet, sound and QE - no problems! But, there's only one thing that I worry about. The fan runs constantly. There is NO STOP. When I'm running Windows, the fan will stop after a few seconds, or never run at all. But on Mac, it runs even if I'm not doing anything. Acitivity Monitor says 97% of the CPU is free/available. Anyone knows how I may be able to set CPU speed to slow, so that I can stop the fan? Or at least so that it doesn't run constantly. I would appreciate any help here!
