iyanic Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 I have been trying to boot (Mac OS X x86 10.4.3 8F1111 DTK DVD) on this machine: -Asrock P4Dual-915GL -Intel® Celeron® D 330 -IDE HDD -USB HDD -2x512Mb RAM CD boots then it get grey screen with apple logo then after 5-10 sec reboots is this because of TPM chip I had successfully installed (on USB HDD) the 10.4.1 from DVD it runs but: -Deerpark(firefox86), iWork and more app's won't start -i get no sound I tried to upgrade to 10.4.2 with +-650mb cd wich I found on thepiratebay.org but it seems that nothing has changed... Metrogirl Posted January 31, 2006 Share Posted January 31, 2006 Yes, the unpatched DVD will hang exactly as you describe and for the reason you identified. For the best compatibility you want to move to 10.4.3 and I'd recommend you try the JaS patched 8F1111 - that's the most likely to get you up and running from the list you give. Good luck! Zaico Posted February 1, 2006 Share Posted February 1, 2006 Haii I have a Dell Inspiron 8500 with a Pentium Mobil 4 2.2Ghz and a 845MP chipset, ATI Radeon 9000 mobil. Is there any chance that i can get 10.4.3 to work?? I have tryde installing 10.4.1 and it works okay but I'd like to try a newer version to see if it works better.. I'd try 10.4.3 but it just restartet at kernel load sorry for my english I'm danish and not good at writhing english as you can se...
