NightMasquerade
Alright, so I've successfully turned my Dell Inspiron 1501 into a Mac, but a few things (mainly the video card) aren't supported, which means a lot of stuff doesn't work properly or even at all. I want to build a 100% working (or as close to as possible) box, but I have no idea which hardware to use. I don't need a monitor or anything, I just need the case and everything that goes inside. Could anyone reccommend a build for around $500 - $700 that would be the most compatible and the highest performance possible? Linking to parts on Newegg would be awesome. NightMasquerade
Anyone? I'd do it myself but I have no idea which parts are compatible with OS X, or how to get parts that are compatible with other parts in the computer. clv101
I don't have the answer as I've never done it. But I'm trying the same thing here: http://forum.insanelymac.com/index.php?showtopic=82275 I think the only critical aspect is the motherboard. Get that right and everything seems easy. We just need to find the perfect motherboard. Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/82061-which-hardware/#findComment-584303 Share on other sites
