splintah Posted January 16, 2008 Share Posted January 16, 2008 i have installed iatkos on a p5k-vm board (recommended to be a very compatible board) everything runs nicely but i dont have Quarz Extreme on onboard x3100 Audio in or out onboard network any suggestions ? did i do something wrong on the installing that thing ? turly Posted February 17, 2008 Share Posted February 17, 2008 Can't help you with the network or audio, but the reason you don't get QX or CI on the P5K-VM is because that motherboard does not have X3100 graphics - it has GMA3000 graphics (note - no 'X'!) These are a little-used development of the old GMA950 architecture. I don't know how different the GMA3000 and the GMA950 really are, but apparently they're different enough that Apple's 950 drivers don't work. Your best bet might be to buy a $50 PCIe graphics card that's known to work.
