geshadow
Not quite sure of the layout on the current releases but the ToH version doesn't contain a extensions.mkext file. All the kext that are loaded are located in the Extensions folder (ToH version) atleast for boot-up. So you could place the kext in that folder....just bare in mind the correct permissions for the kext (Directories :755 Files:644) Also, you'll need to modify a package on the DVD so the kext will be saved to the HDD after the install. I used Pacifist to check the osinstall.mpkg to find where the best spot to add a kext (it's broken up into a few different sub-packages). The last and painful thing to watch for (if this is all being done with Leo), if you create an image of the DVD for adding the kext, Leo will automatically create a extensions.mkext file in the image which I've found can bugger things up. Usually I boot into a Tiger DVD and run terminal and remove it before burning. Hope this helps
