Bona Fide
Yeah, so I burned the Kalyway 10.5.1 ISO to a DVD (at 1x speed) and when I boot with it, it goes to the Apple logo and it looks like it's loading. After a minute or two, I get this circle-slash thing right on top of the Apple logo. It looks like this, but gray: Does anyone know what that means? It just stays there forever and I can't get to the installation.

I didn't quite get what that means, but it's all I could find after searching.

ronpaul
Time to build a computer designed specifically for OSX. Use supported hardware and this wont happen. You could also try making sure that your SATA hdd/dvd are on your main two SATA ports. This error normally means that it cant see the DVD.
Bona Fide
Alright I figured it out. The solution for the P5K-E is to go into the BIOS, and in the main tab go to SATA Configuration. Set the SATA config as AHCI, and make sure Intel Robson is disabled. That fixed it for me.
