I have an HP m7750n PC with an 8800 GTS and I have no RAID support. S.M.A.R.T is always on, no way to turn it off. :( SATA DVD-RW drive / SATA 320 GB HD and its a totally seperate HDD than my winxp drive. I unplug my 400GB Winxp hd when i try to install using the mac os 10.4.8 (JaS AMD-Intel-SSE2-SSE3) iso and it gets to the bootloader and hangs at /.com...IOUSB somthing. says it has no depedency. 320 GB is FAT32 and I cant figure out whats going on. Is SATA the problem?srry, refreshed while posting

Not sure if yer still hackin' at it, but for future troubled viewers...

1) Whenever you run into issues like this, it's always best to write down the exact error. If you can, take/post a screenshot.

2) Sounds like way too many things going on a once - strip it down to it's bare minimums, and get that DVD to load up. That means barebones, keyboard, mouse, and DVD-rom (no HDD). If you're still getting errors - look at BIOS settings; swap out DVD; re-burn the DVD; or try a different version (iAtkos, Kalyway).
