duncanparsons
I found pressing F8 when prompted at the start of the process, and typing -v -legacy -vmware helps; with the waiting.. give it up to 10 minutes I've had to go that long sometimes, but it has pulled through and worked Wishing you every success, DSP! The Cat
I am also trying to get a mac working in VMware. I have the same problems. The last line before the machine hangs is: load of /sbin/launched failed errno 8 But the errors before that point are similair.
The Cat
For me the problem was solved by burning the ISO to disk. I think most CD drive emulators are having problems with the ISO. After configurating VMware to the the burned cd the installation continued.
