7eventh Posted January 13, 2008 Share Posted January 13, 2008 Hi, I had had a 10.4.10 (tubgirl) up and running with absolutely no problem. My Quadro FX 3400 was recognized emediately and I had QE/CI supported. And this is what happens when things go too easy ... I tried Leopard (10.5.1 - Zephyroth V1). Installation went smooth. Deleting the NV- and GeForce kexts brought up the system with no problem. Now I tried several NV/GeForce kexts. Tried installers ... installing by hand... editing the kext with the ID (0x00F8 and 10de), using NVinject 0.2.0 and 0.2.1. All with the same result .. card recognized, resolution set properly but NO QE/CI. WHAT DO I MISS??? System is a A8N5X (NForce4), 2GB Kington HYperX, Opteron 165 (@2,5GHz), 80GB IDE THANX for any help! Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
x.di Posted May 24, 2008 Share Posted May 24, 2008 I have the same problem too I have not tried yet but this can help ... try to change NVCAP in nvinject info.plist to "NVCAP = <04000100 00000300 0c000000 0000000a 00000000 > ... may be it will work!!!
