Ramix
Hi, i have installed Leopard with the kalyway CD. During the installation, i've selected this options: Vanilla Kernel Vanilla Acpi SSE2 Grafik: Nvidia Laptop Audio: ALC882 Efi:GUID After the installation, i always get the b0 error, when i try to boot. SO i tried to install again with following options: Vanilla Kernel Vanilla Acpi without SSE2 Grafik: Nvidia Laptop Audio: ALC882 Efi:MBR Now, when i try to boot, i see a bootmanager, where i can select the os. When i select Leopard, the apple logo appears, the small wheel start to spin and then it suddenly stops. And then nothing comes. Which options should i select? I have a notebook: Dell Vostro 1500 1,8 Core2Duo 1 GB Ram grafik: 8600GT What means SSE2/SSE3? Which should i select? I hope u can help me, to get this leo installed... greetz! Lozzo
Try installing again without any Nvidia graphic options in the installer, and then install the 10.5.2/OpenGL/Nvinject once you have the OS loaded up correctly. For the 8600 to work properly, (As far as I know) you need install the 10.5.2 kexts/OpenGL/NVinject package once OSX is working anyway, so you might as well keep things as simple as possible until you see a working desktop.
