I have installed 10.4.9 (V1.4i_r3) and then Leo10.5.1 and all works very nice except for a few things.

Sound is not working out-of-the-box. My card is a Realtek AL262 with info: 10ec,0262

WLAN is not working out-of-the-box. My card is a Atheros AR5006EG: 168c,001c

I am wondering if someone can tell me whether these two will work as of today with post-installation changes to the drivers ?

If so, can someone gimme a few directions ? I have googled all over for 3 days.

PS! I saw in the forum that someone (in aug2007) made this AR5006EG card working, but the thread has a dead link to the drivers, so I cannot test and nobody else have made any links for downloading, unfortunately.

Help is highly appreciated.

PS! I have also installed 10.4.9 on a FSC Lifebook E7010 if someone needs confirmation on what works, and what doesn't.

Regards

Espen

I have the same issue, same card but from an LG405. Tried multiple kext's but no luck so far - I consider myself to be pretty adept at this type of work, any ideas how to get the WLAN working in osc on atheros ar5006EG?
