bobogs Posted January 30, 2006 Share Posted January 30, 2006 Installing into VMWare 5.0 on a 1.8ghz/1gb ram host. The vm has 384mb of ram and a 20gb virtual disk, not preallocated. I started the install at around 11:00pm last night and here it is at 7:00am, and the status message shows 1h30m remaining while it's installing Italian (don't know why I chose to install all the extra languages). At the beginning of the install last night, it took over an hour to verify the install dvd. I had some trouble using the dvd iso file directly as the vm drive source (the install always told me to reboot at the beginning, in various languages ), so I mounted it in daemon tools and referenced the host's drive letter. I'm using the macosx_10.4.3_8f1111_for_dtk_userdvd iso, which says that it's using Wesley's patch. Any suggestions? Thanks!
