mtotho Posted January 11, 2008 Share Posted January 11, 2008 Hello, i have an ab9 Quadgt which should be totally compatible.. I have installed it without a single problem, full hardrive read/write speed. Installed x1900xtx radeon driver, got sound working. The only problem is i installed the RTL1xxx1.02 driver (it should be the correct driver for my computer.. as i have an rtl1xxx... cant remember it this second. My problem isnt that it doesnt detect the ethernet card... cause it does. My problem is that when i plug in the ethernet cord.. it assigns the ip addres of 169.254.166.144... which is certainly not what it should be. and the internet doesnt work of course. i tried setting everything to manual.. and i did put in the correct settings for my lan.
