Da11y Posted January 9, 2008 Share Posted January 9, 2008 My problem is that my ethernet and internet works fine on Leopard but only if I type in -f on boot. If I don't type -f, I can see my ethernet in system preference>network but it is not connected to the internet. I got my ethernet working by edited the values in the plist. Is there any soloution to my problem. I hope someone can help. I know its not a major problem but I find it annoying. SA22C Posted January 10, 2008 Share Posted January 10, 2008 Support for the 36 and 38 Marvell cards is spotty under Leopard. You're lucky that your card works at all, quite frankly. Mine doesn't and hasn't since I installed Leo. It's a good thing I use my wireless almost exclusively. Da11y Posted January 10, 2008 Author Share Posted January 10, 2008 Thats true also but -f reloads all the .kexts doesn't it. Why doesn't it just reload all of them on each boot up. Is anyone else having this same problem?
