My problem is that my ethernet and internet works fine on Leopard but only if I type in

-f on boot.

If I don't type -f, I can see my ethernet in system preference>network but it is not connected to the

internet.

I got my ethernet working by edited the values in the plist.

Is there any soloution to my problem.

I hope someone can help. I know its not a major problem but I find it annoying.

Support for the 36 and 38 Marvell cards is spotty under Leopard. You're lucky that your card works at all, quite frankly. Mine doesn't and hasn't since I installed Leo. It's a good thing I use my wireless almost exclusively.
