Uriktai
Hi Guys, this is going to be my first posting i believe, and i've got a situation. I've installed ToH Leopard x86 on my Dell Inspiron B130 (Single OS). Everything went well as long as i did the VGA Paperclip trick (1-6, 2-12). I finished setup, saw my desktop, messed around with the preferences (magnify dock, looked to see what my VGA settings were, but didnt change any, checked "about this mac.") Everything was going fine, but i didnt want to see wires hanging out the side of my laptop at all times. So, Then i attempted to install diabolik GMA 900 installer package. it failed with a reason i cant remember exactly. I figured my VGA was already working, so i pulled the VGA paperclips, and restarted. Now i see "Unable to boot Operating System". When i put the ToH DVD back in, and load it through DVD first, but ignore "hit any key to install" it attempts to boot OSX again, but quits, giving me "System config file '/Library/Preferences/SystemConfiguration/com.apple.Boot.plist' not found". Question is, how can i get it to boot back to OSX, and what would i have to do after that to make it work without using the VGA paperclip trick? My USB works, Wireless Network works, CD rom Works, but i think i just have a video problem. I have ToH x86 DVD, JaS 10.4.8, JaS 10.4.6 dvd's. Please someone guide a newbie Hackintosher! Is it just so you can use the vga port or to see your desktop?
