I'm thinking of getting a new laptop in the next couple of months, and this VAIO particularly catches my fancy..

Obviously, one of my main concerns is running MAC OS X Leopard on it, and i don't want to go in for a Macbook or a MacBook Pro, because frankly they are poo in terms of spec for the price...

Now the main concern is the graphics card, has the GeForce 8600 proven to work properly on Leopard?

Another question, although likely impossible, will the Blu-Ray drive work? I know Toast Titanium has Blu-Ray support so i was wondering...

If anybody has any experience i would appreciate it!!

I have this laptop running osx86 [leo 10.5.2, efi & stock kernel].

The 8600M GS gfx card is proving to be a pain. I haven't seen reports of it working on a sony laptop (everyone appears to be stuck with a blank screen on both internal laptop display and VGA out).

Blu-ray functionality in osx86: No idea about. its on my 'get working' list but way down below GFX and WiFi.

Its a peach of a laptop. runs pretty hot tho, can get uncomfortable to have on your lap.
