Hi,

I have a HP nw8240 with a working (more or less :o ) Ati Mobility Radeon X700/FireGL V500SV.

This is the System Profiler output:

Chipset Model: Mobility Radeon X700/FireGL V5000 (M26) (PCIE)

Type: Display

Bus: PCIe

VRAM (Total): 128 MB

Vendor: ATI (0x1002)

Device ID: 0x5653

Revision ID: 0x0000

Displays:

Display:

Resolution: 1280 x 1024 @ 60 Hz

Depth: 32-bit Color

Core Image: Supported

Main Display: Yes

Mirror: Off

Online: Yes

Quartz Extreme: Supported

I can change resolution using an external monitor, but with the internal lcd I cannot change: not even with option at the boot menu.

This is the output of the Callisto drivers from system.log

Jan 8 11:13:24 localhost kernel[0]: Callisto: done with Mobility Radeon X700/FireGL V500SV

I think that the problem is related to the internal display not being DDC compliant.

My other big issue is that I cannot boot while not battery powered...

Can anybody help me?

Tnx in advance
