webtek23
When I try to install final cut pro it tells me that I do not have the necessary hardware required to run the application and cancels the install. From looking at the requirements for the program I think the problem is that I am using an nVidia Geforce2 Mx4000 graphics card and that is not one of the supported cards. Is there any way to fool final cut into believing that I have that card so that I can install? Can I edit a file in the install package or something? Takuro
Relevant Topic ::. Final Cut Pro 5.0 - installed and working Basically you need to go through each package and delete "volumecheck" or "installationcheck" from each. Then try running the main installer package. If all else fails, just download Pacifist and open the package then force it to install. (That's what I did) [Pacifist.dmg] - - [957KB] Click to download The evaluation copy makes you wait about 15 seconds after launch before you can use it. Other than that, there is no time limit or any restrictions to the evaluation. Wayland
Hey just as a warning, Pacifist CAN funk up your system as well. Mine acts weird now after I tried to install all the misc apps from Motion 2 and other studio packages.... Just a warning...
