iceyone
I have an intel badaxe 1 with a core duo and 4 gig of ram. Anyway i have vista installed first (on an ntfs partition) I then created 2 hfs+ partitions in diskpart by typing create partition primary id=af size=15000 I did this twice, then i installed tiger with the kalway 10.4.10 disk and it booted. I then installed leopard with the kalway 10.5.1 disk and installed it on the second hfs+ partition called "Leopard" (must be called Leopard) using this guide: http://www.digitmemo.com/articles/658/howt...ot-setup-guide/ Do not select any efi options. I then tried to boot into leopard but got the grey screen where it stops booting. I then booted in -v mode and found i got 2 kernel panics: Jan 2 20:39:13 kirbys-mac-pro kextd[10]: cannot resolve dependencies for kernel extension /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleACPIThermal.kext I also got an efi kernel panic related to AppleEFIruntime. I then booted into tiger and deleted: These are in /System/Library/Extensions/ AppleFan.kext AppleCPUThermal.kext AppleThermal.kext This is in /System/Library/Extensions/AppleACPIPlatform.kext/Contents/PlugIns/AppleACPIThermal.kext AppleACPIThermal.kext (This is a plugin found in the AppleACIPIPlatform.kext) and the appleefiruntime.kext It then booted. I am not saying this will work for you but it did work for me. I have also included the sound file i use to get my sigmatel working. If you have any questions (i haven't explained this very well) i am more than happy to answer them for you. This is just a guide, however i am very new to osx and actually find it better than vista. My 8800gt works out of the box without installing any updates.
