Nisi
Here is my configuration: - Intel D975XBX2 Motherboard - 5 internal SATA drives (NTFS) - USB external hard drive (HFS+) Here are the steps that I took: I already had Vista installed on my boot disk (C:) so I successfully installed iATKOS 10.5.1 to the USB external disk. Now if I set the boot priority in the BIOS to the USB disk I can boot into OS X fine. If I do the same for the Vista disk (C:, disk0) Vista boots up fine. However this is pain and I'd like to use the Vista boot loader so I used the EasyBCD utility and created a boot loader entry for the OSX installation. I copied the chain0 file from the install DVD to C:\ and restarted my machine, I get the nice dual boot menu, however when I select the Mac OSX option I get the "chain booting error" message. I've spent countless hours trying to fix this but nothing seems to work. I suspect that chain0 is having problems finding the OSX partition because it's on an external USB disk. Can anyone offer and advice/insight? Thanks!
