Nando
Hi, I have a Dell latitude d510. i had 10.4.1 installed directly and worked without problem has most of the users here. The problems started when i've tried to install 10.4.3. I've tried Jas patch v4.2b and i got an kernel panic (19c554) right at boot, and with wesley patch it can boot until the first blue screen and stays there. But if i connect a external monitor and use it i can install, but in the first reboot i got the "grey screen". So now the questions, what are the differences between those two patchs? I've read the list of features and they are the same... so why the different behavior? Also, if this laptop has a intel board and intel graphics i don't need the nvidia or ati patchs, right? So i decided to create my own patched DVD. I've got the Maxxuss ppf's applyed all and also the bootloader patch... and in the end i got that lousy kernel panic. The only thing i didn't applyed was the anti-TPM, that i didn't knew how to do that... So what are those differences, and isn't there a way i recreate wesley patch for example ha it was the one that woked the best for me, without the paths i don't need? Pretty boring text uh? Thanks.
