cro Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 ok, i got leopard 10.5.1 kalyway installed, and working great on my desktop complete with dual monitor support. now... i would LOVE to get either tiger or leopard installed on my laptop. i am having alot of issues with even getting the install to boot. since my laptop doesnt have a dvd drive i attache the hard drive to my desk top and do the install, then put in the appropriate patches and it installs fine, and i shut it down after install and put the drive back into my laptop. it freezes at several differant points. right after the network initialization, or pccardbus failed. here are my laptop: HP/Compaq nx9008 HP Pavilion ze8500 2.6ghz intel celeron (sse2) ATI rs200m graphics ati 340/345m IGP agp ali m5229 pci bus master ide controler ali audio accelerator TI pci-1410 cardbus controller VIA usb controller DP83815/816 10/100 ethernet MacPhyter PCI adapter 40gb seagate drive (25.5gb windows xp, 11.7gb mac) desktop runs great with leopard 10.5.1/vista Intel Pentium d 925 3.0ghz @3.6ghz gigabyte i865gme agp xfx 7600gt 256mb agp 160gb seagate sata 160gb seagate pata asus dvd +/- r/rw dl asus dvd reader 700w rosewell psu **will also trade laptop for a more compatable laptop to run os x.
