editor Posted January 7, 2008 Share Posted January 7, 2008 Hi all, Thought I'd give 10.5.1 a go. I'm using the iATKOS 1.0ir2 release. I did have uphuck's 10.4.9 running very successfully. However with this 10.5.1 release the install goes smoothly and the computer reboots fine but when I get to the section to choose whether I want to transfer mac 'stuff' or to 'create a new user' (which is the one I select) it does not go any further and after a couple of minutes restarts the setting up process from the beginning (selecting a location). This happens over and over again. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this? I'm running a pretty old machine however my specs are pretty good: hp xw600, 2 x 3.06Ghz pentium xeons (SSE2), 2Gb ram, ATI Radeon 2600 HD, IDE HDDs. Any advice would be greatful, Thank you.
