Anton Prosch
Hallo, i am trying hard to install mac os 10.4.4/iAtkos1.0 natively on my Computer. My hardware: Asus P4s533x (Chipset SIS 645) 768MB RAM 128MB AGP Radeon 9600XT 4 IDE Harddrives (Samsung 250gb, Hitachi 80gb, Maxtor 60gb, IBM 40gb) 1 IDE DVD-Burner Marvell WLAN Promise IDE UDMA 100 Controller (optional) I allways get the message "still waiting for root device", regardless if the hd is connected on the buildin SIS or on the optional Promise IDE Controller. So i installed OSX within vmware. That was easy going. But very slow... Now that i have a proper installation on one of my harddrives, i`d like to patch some kexts, so that osx will accept one of my ide controllers. Where do i have to put in my Vendor and Product ID?
