BoBo Posted January 29, 2006 Share Posted January 29, 2006 Ok So here is what I got K8N-E Nforce 3 Ultra x800 AIW id 1002, 4a4b AMD 754 3200+ SSE2 So I have 1600X1200, QE and CI (they are slow and I boot to to safe mode unless I need FCP5) It is pretty awesome. Started with Wesley prepatched DVD Applied, Maxxus 0.5 Applied, Maxxus SeedUpdate Applined Core Tuning (Not sure if it really helps all that much) Working wireless WMP54g v4 RT2500 Tried JaS ATI driver, but it boinked my install, rolled back have the AppleI386PCI.kext (added ids still reports PCI, eh..) Using ATIRadeon9700GA supposedly. Here's a quick one, what is running the video in safe mode? How can I make it do that for normal boot? QE is only useful for FCP5 as far as I have seen so far.
