Ok, ive done a lot of searching, both on this site, and the internet. And i cannot find an answer to my question. I have a Sony Vaio VGN-AR290G. It has twin SATA harddrives in a RAID. I currently have Windows XP installed, with Partition Magic 8 and Acronis Disk Director and OS Selector installed. I have made a FAT32 partition with Partition Magic, and attempted to boot from a couple different MAC OSX x86 boot DVDs. Both with the same result, when i get to the install screen to pick a partition to install OSX on, nothing is there. I go to Disk Utility, and my computer's harddrives are not listed, only the DVD is listed. If i plug in a USB drive, it will list that. How can i get the program to recognize my partitions? Is there any way to install OSX from within XP? Any answers would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
