mtotho
I have been given my brothers old powerbook G4 . It is back when they had the old processors. Im not too familiar with what it was but i think its about 4-5 years old and it still runs pretty fast. It has a 1.5ghz processor and 512 mb ram. My bonehead brother installed leopard on in and i dont think it can handle it that well as it is slowled down tremendously.. that or it just has alot of {censored} on it. So.. my question is Should i install leopard or Tiger... i would like a clean format anyway. Thanks also would the jas intel/amd disc work for a real mac? i obviously wouldnt select any intel or amd stuff.
skyhighmac
If you want leopard, go for it. The system is double the minimum specs, so you should be fine. DON'T use the jas image. Get a real image thats isn't modded. A hacked version could cause problems. Some stuff is changed.
