jotokun
FINALY got it to work. Went to another machine that has booted iAtkos properly. Installed on that machine to an external drive, used SSE2/3 kernel and GMAX3100 patch. Would not boot with EFI, so I used the standard boot loader. Everything except wifi works. Dual monitors work, even, with multipule desktops instead of mirroring! Only complaints are that it takes a LONG time to boot up(10+ minuts) but I know thats because of the USB drive, and the fact that I have to turn off the second core in the BIOS, cpus=1 does nothing for me. Have not tried internal eathernet, but I'm sure it works. Once its up, its one of the fastest hackintoshes I've seen.
KnowYourEnemy626
Do you have sleep functioning properly? I have a satellite with similar specs (same chipset i believe) and when it sleeps it will not come back. Any ideas?
jotokun
Sleep doesnt work, the machine still runs, but the monitor built into the laptop never comes back on
crazyJAT
Can you elaborate as to how you got it to stop stalling. I am tying to install onto a laptop and am stalling in the same spot. Did you put a new kernel on after installing? Is that what made it work?
