mhpo Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 after "Checking installation dvd" screen came with result 100% cool installation have began after few minutes an very odd message came out "the installer could not validate the contents of the "BaseSystem" package. contact the software manufacturer for assistance" i used a maxtor hdd 40 GB and a new dvdrom i tried this method: hdd ide 00 master and the second 01 slave my dvdrom both on the same ide my other dvdrom and sata hdd was disconected i used the same method to install tiger 10.4.11 works just grate please if anyone can help me.. p.s i also tried swiching the dvdroms the same affect also tooked from my friend other hdd none the same i used: KALYWAY_LEO_10.5.1intel_SSE2_SSE3 Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/79343-problem-install-kalyway_leo_1051intel_sse2_sse3/ Share on other sites More sharing options...
