hac-p35 Posted January 2, 2008 Share Posted January 2, 2008 Got an almost success P35-DS3 installation: 0. BIOS: set to AHIC - both DVDROM & HDD 1. Install from Brazil(9A581) but reboot into DVD again after finished installation. 2. add/patch these kexts: dsmos.kext ALCinject.kext Natit.kext AppleHDA.kext IONetworkingFamily.kext AppleSMBIOS.kext AppleACPIPlatform.kext System.kext ( from netkas.org ) 3. removed the two kexts: AppleIntelCPUPowerManagement.kext/AppleEFIRuntime.kext 4. Install netkas' efi 5. repair disk permissions 6. Update to 10.5.1 The system now works almost fine, EXCEPT the wireless(a BCM4318 PCI card). Two days earlier, the wireless works, but after shutdown for the new year and restart today, it can't connect to any AP (with or without encryption) anymore. The whole system is un-touched, why? PS, system.log - Apple80211Associate() failed = -6((null)) port =26303 ... and airportd core dump several times. This thing drives me crazy!
