Error - Short time cache

hey buddies,

 

sometimes, while i use my precious imac g5 intel, os x 10.4.11 , an curious error occurs and directly disturbs my harmonic workflow

first of all, there is no error msg or any "official software malfunction annotation";

the main sympton is, that the fast memory doesnt safe any information like copy & paste.

drag-n-drop stops working and to work with the apple key (examples: selection of files ; creating a new tab) is also not possible any more, because pressing the key occurs no reaction.

 

i´ve read something about this error in very old "jaguar-threads" in the web, but i can´t find a solution.
