Cant boot into OS X

I tried booting from vmware and keep on getting the message of encountered an error and I need to restart.

 

I am using a USB keyboard and mouse and still to no avail.

 

BTW anyone got this to work on an AMD cpu with vmware?

 

Update:

 

I seem to have got past the error screen and for those who use VMWare in Linux, you must delete the USB controller option by clicking on it and click remove.

 

I got it to boot so far
