MoTo77 Posted December 31, 2007 Share Posted December 31, 2007 I tried installing Kalyway's 10.5.1. The DVD booted up, but it didn't work on my system, so I did an install of 10.4.9. I now have a Vista/10.4.9 dual boot system. From here I would like to try upgrading the setup to Vista/10.5.1 to see if that will work. The BIOS on my Intel 945 GNT board is set to boot from CD/DVD first. However when I start up with the 10.5.1 DVD in the drive, the computer completely ignores it! This is the same DVD that booted fine earlier, so I know the DVD is good. How could a system install affect this setting? Any idea what the problem could be?
