jeff300
I've got 10.4.10 installed on my HP Pavillion A6028x which is made up of an nForce 4 motherboard, Athlon64 X2 4600 CPU, nVidia GeForce 6150SE video, Realtek HD Audio, Realtek RTL8201N network. All in all, everything works great except the wired LAN. I think I've read every article on every forum and followed all the instructions. I very quickly gave up on trying to get the RTL8201 to work, so I tried all the following PCI NICs that I have around: Realtek 8139D 3Com 3C905TX-A Fast Etherlink XL Linksys EtherFast LNE100TX 4.1 Kingston KNE111TX None of them work. From what I've read, the Realtek, 3Com and Linksys should all work for me, but they don't. I also boot the computer in XP and Vista, and all the cards work, so there are no hardware problems here. Anybody have any ideas? Link to comment https://www.insanelymac.com/forum/topic/78907-network-card-insanity/ Share on other sites

jeff300
I tried his driver and his method and it didn't work for me either. I think for some reason OSX will not recognize any PCI card I put in my computer. I think my only hope now is USB.
